At exactly this time four years ago I was sitting on a balcony enjoying the view and the sun while reflecting over what I wanted to do with my life. I was on holiday with my family in the South of Spain and while I tried to enjoy the holiday as much as I could I knew I had to make some major changes in order to figure out what I wanted to do with my life workwise. As soon as I got back home from that holiday I applied for a job in London and a week after I went over for a job interview and got the job. Everything went quite quickly and that is how it still feels. I am a planner and have always loved planning but the last four years have not been planned at all and they still ended up being some of the most exciting and hardest years of my life. In those four years I managed to move abroad and leave everything behind back home, have not only one, but two children and move back home again.

At the same time last year I also had one of the best holidays ever with some of my closest friends this time reflecting on what I wanted to do next both in terms of which country to live in and what to do workwise while enjoying the thought of my little family back in London. A year after that little family of three had grown to four. Four years ago seems ages away because so much has happened and although I love changes I don't want it to go too fast and I want to remember yesterday as much as today. The next few years will probably go just as fast and although I will try to plan as much as I can I know it won't always be that easy but still as exciting as it has been until now.
